Fixed Fee Initial Advice for Disputes
We have a long history of helping to resolve legal disputes in a pragmatic, cost-effective way for the people of York, North Yorkshire and beyond.
We know that when you have a legal dispute, there is a natural fear that you will quickly run up a lot of legal fees and lose control.
We want you to feel comfortable in taking legal advice, as doing so at an early stage can save you money in the long run.
With this in mind, we offer in all civil disputes cases an initial appointment of 45 minutes for a fixed fee of £50 plus VAT (a total of £60 at current VAT rates). This excludes family law work.
If you need further work doing beyond that, we will happily quote for that further work during the meeting. However, you will come under no pressure to commit further.
If you simply want a letter to be sent to another party following the meeting, and to be advised on their initial reply, we will do that for a further fixed fee of £75 plus VAT (£90 at current VAT rates). Again you will come under no pressure to commit beyond that.
Our aim is to provide you with quality advice at a price you can afford.
For personal injury claims our free initial advice scheme remains in place.
If you have a strong enough case we will always offer you a Conditional Fee Agreement in injury claim cases, and may do so in other types of dispute.
