We have just reached the end of National Pro Bono Week. Many law firms participate in acitivities which provide free legal advice in their local communities. We are no different. This week has seen the launch by the College of Law in York of a new Employment Rights Line (ERL), which is run by the College's Pro Bono Unit and students of the College. With other firms in York we are providing assistance to ERL in giving telephone advice to clients of the service. ERL provides free initial employment law advice to local people who would not otherwise be able to afford it. ERL can be contacted on 01904 659065.
